COR VISION SLIDING DOORS
What Makes Cor Vision Sliding Doors Different?
Maximum Glass, Minimum Frame
Most conventional aluminium sliding doors have thick visible meeting stiles. Cor Vision takes a different approach, with an exceptionally slim 20mm interlock between sliding panels. With up to 94% glass-to-frame ratio, more of the opening becomes glass rather than aluminium — giving your home wider views, greater natural light.
Concealed Frames for a Pure-Gas Look
The outer frame can be recessed into the walls, floor and ceiling during installation, helping create a remarkably seamless appearance. Combined with large glass panels and slim aluminium profiles, the result is a modern architectural look where the garden becomes part of the room.
Built for Large Openings & Floor-to-Ceiling Views
Cor Vision is designed for projects where ordinary patio doors simply aren't enough. Individual panels can reach approximately 2,500mm wide and 3,000mm high, with panel weights of up to 320kg. Heavy-duty stainless-steel running systems allow even large panels to glide smoothly, while two- and three-track configurations provide flexibility for wider openings. With configurations ranging from two to six panels, Cor Vision can create expansive glazed openings across contemporary extensions, renovations and high-end homes.
WHY CHOOSE COR VISION?
Slim Aluminium Sliding Doors vs Bifolds — Which Is Right for You?
When choosing large glazed doors, the right system depends on how you want to use the space. Sliding doors prioritise uninterrupted views and ultra-slim sightlines, while bifolds are designed to open the majority of the aperture.Choose sliding doors if your priority is maximum glass, cleaner sightlines and a permanent connection with your garden.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Cor Vision Sliding Doors are an ultra-slim aluminium sliding system made by Cortizo, one of Europe’s largest aluminium manufacturers. They feature a 20mm interlock sightline, a 94% glass-to-frame ratio, and concealed frame options — giving large glass openings with almost invisible framing.
The central interlock, where two panels meet, is just 20mm wide — among the slimmest available in the UK. Budget aluminium sliders typically show 50–80mm at the same point. The perimeter frame can also be hidden within walls and floors for an even cleaner look.
Each Cor Vision panel can measure up to 2,500mm wide and 3,000mm high, weighing up to 320kg. With configurations of 2 to 6 panels across two or three tracks, openings of six metres or more are achievable. Larger projects can step up to the Cor Vision Plus system.
Yes. Cor Vision Sliding Doors are certified to PAS 24, the enhanced UK security standard. They include multi-point locking with hook locks, anti-lift devices that stop panels being levered from the track, and reinforced meeting stiles. Laminated glass can be added for extra protection.
Both can meet UK Building Regulations comfortably. Cor Vision’s thermally broken frames achieve U-values from 1.3 W/m²K, and because sliding doors use fewer frame sections than bifolds, they often have less heat-loss area overall. Glass specification makes the biggest difference either way.
